WELCOME

Guided by the balance of Yin and Yang—the energizing light of the sun (sol) and the restorative calm of the moon (luna)—Soluna Massage and Bodywork honors both movement and stillness within each person.

I believe healing comes when the whole of who you are is supported—recognizing and respecting that body, mind, and spirit are not separate, but expressions of the same living system seeking balance and well-being.

Hi! I’m Nicole, the owner of Soluna Massage and Bodywork. I graduated with honors from Northwestern Health Sciences University with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Massage Therapy.

I am passionate about helping others feel more at home in their bodies by creating space for ease and balance through therapeutic, client-centered bodywork.

Get to Know Me

My practice is rooted in both personal experience and professional training. In a relatively short amount of time, I experienced multiple whiplash injuries in my cervical spine that resulted in years of chronic pain. Structures throughout my C1–C7 vertebrae—including nerves, ligaments, discs, and muscles—were impacted, which resulted in a wide range of symptoms that affected my nervous system, physical health, and overall well-being. I began to experience true and lasting relief through holistic modalities such as acupuncture, massage therapy, talk therapy, and practices that supported nervous system regulation. These experiences shaped my approach to bodywork—one that honors the body’s natural ability to heal and seeks to restore balance through intentional, therapeutic methods.

As a practitioner, my intention is to create a space where your body feels supported, your mind can unwind, and your whole self is invited to heal. My work focuses on creating a safe, supportive, inclusive space for healing through intuitive heart-centered bodywork. The human body is incredibly intelligent and generally knows what it needs in order to heal itself. People often talk about the mind, body, and spirit as if they were ever separate. But think of islands in the ocean—they may appear distinct from one another above the surface, yet beneath the water they’re all part of the same landmass. They were never truly separate. This perspective deeply influences my practice. By respecting the nervous system and working with it in subtle yet meaningful ways, we create the conditions for the body to release and process experiences the way it naturally knows how.

Much of my work involves listening through my hands to how the body presents and responds to what it needs to support balance and ease. My sessions include work with soft tissues—such as muscles and connective tissue (fascia)—as well as gentle techniques that address the nervous system, internal organs, and the cranial structures. My integrative approach draws from several therapeutic modalities, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, craniosacral therapy, reflexology, and Thai yoga massage. I also practice visceral and neural manipulation techniques developed by French osteopaths Jean-Pierre Barral and Alain Croibier. These gentle techniques are designed to support mobility and function of the internal organs and nerves, and may be helpful for issues related to nerve irritation, restricted movement, and discomfort. (Visceral and neural sessions are typically 40–45 minutes in length, with appointments spaced approximately 7–30 days apart depending on individual needs.)

Each integrative session is individualized and guided by your specific needs and how your body responds during treatment. With an intuitive understanding of the mind–body connection and deep respect for the body’s innate wisdom, I work with you to support physical balance, encourage nervous system regulation, and create space for the body to restore and integrate naturally.

Craniosacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on method that engages the CranioSacral System—a unified, whole-being system reflecting the integration of physical structures, physiological rhythms, and energetic processes. Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams (about the weight of a nickel) practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system, which has been shown to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, as well as many other systems of the body, such as digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory, and more. CST has also been shown to help with the physical components related to such somatic conditions as Post Traumatic Stress, depression and anxiety.

Reflexology

Experience deep relaxation and full-body balance through the ancient art of reflexology. Reflexology focuses on specific points on the feet that correspond to organs, glands, and systems throughout the body. Gentle, focused pressure helps stimulate circulation, release tension, and encourage natural healing responses. Ideal for reducing stress, improving energy flow, and grounding the mind and body.

Thai Yoga Massage

Experience the transformative benefits of Thai Yoga Massage, an ancient healing practice that blends acupressure, assisted yoga-like stretching, and energy line work to promote balance, flexibility, and deep relaxation. Ideal for those seeking relief from muscle stiffness, stress, or simply a revitalizing full-body experience.
